Autumn War 2008
Hati Longtooth Memorial
Woodworking Competition
Every year a contest is held at Autumn War to reaffirm the
loves of Hati Longtooth (pronounced Hottie Long Tooth). Hati had a strong
sense of humour, family, the dream, and of wood. Anything made of any
wood, from a little bit laying about waiting to be used, to fine grains
and happy joinery. Do you have a nice chest, or perhaps a lovely little
box? Maybe someone thinks you have a nice wagon. Have you got some sweet
inlay?
Be it made of trunk or limbs, plank or scrap, Hati liked usable and pretty
things. Does it have more than one use? Will it
last, and is it "Ver' Nice?" Then bring it to the contest and show it off.
Our one simple contest rule is that your entry must be made mostly of
wood.
Bring your wood working entry to the location noted in the site copy
schedule to be admired and judged. One entry per person. We ask that you
do not enter items that have previously won an A&S contest.
If you do not want to enter the contest, then you may show your articles
on a space-available basis just for the joy of it.
This Competition is worth 1
war point. |
